Sketches in Silver Collection
 
A collection of sterling silver jewellery inspired by real moments in nature, sketched by hand and brought to life at the bench.
 
Each piece in the sketches in silver collection begins with a quiet observation - drawn whilst sitting in wild places with my sketchbook, often accompanied by my Staffie, Belle. From Lochside views to coastal horizons, these are memories cast in silver, shaped using traditional silversmithing techniques, and made to be worn as lasting reminders of peace, presence, and connection with the land and sea. 
 
This collection will grow with time, and some have found there forever homes already.
Here we have 
 
A =  The coastal view of Croyde beach in North Deven, a high tide with the sea meeting the stream that runs to meet it. In the distance the hills leading to Baggy Point. Or you may see another coastline?
 
B = This scene was sketched whilst sitting lochside, capturing a  quiet moment of reflection and stillness of a scottish morning on Loch Fynn. The rugged beauty of the scottish hills across the loch, a cloud passing by on the morning light winds. ( Please note-this piece is on display throughout September at Art at the Alex in Rugby, if interested please message me) 
 
C = This scene sketched whilst sitting on a grassy bank above putsborough beach, the scene reflects a morning spent walking on the beach, a return to the grassy bank and those moments looking out to sea and wishing not to leave, the sun high in the sky and the light glistening on the sea. 
 
These pieces are a tribute to salt air, open skies amd the beauty of moments in nature.
