Born from my love of longbow archery, this one-of-a-kind ornament blends two crafts: Traditional woodturning and silversmithing. The smooth wooden apple - turned by a skilled local woodturner (i have since had a chance to turn my own apple under guidance) - is pierced by a handforged sterling silver arrow. A slight hammer texture on the arrow point and a textured vein, add to its detail.
Its a nod to tales of Robin Hood, to the satisfying arc of the arrow in flight, and to the joy of making simply because it makes you smile. A tactile, characterful piece that brings together the warmth of wood, the gleam of silver, an a little touch of "because why not?"

Size: Apple is approx 5.5cms tall,
Finish: Polished , the arrow comes in two pieces, as any silver ornaments will tarnish over time, so this allows ease of cleaning with a polish cloth.

Stand: The arrow will be supplied with a small acylic cube which it can sit upon, or alterntaivley perch the arrow on a shelf or fire place.
